Zero Gravity in the City of Arts and Sciences

In the City of Sciences and Arts you will be able to feel like an astronaut in the space thanks to en exposition that will be hosted in Príncipe Felipe Sciences Museum. The exposition is composed by imagines and projections took directly from the space that will be exposed all around the roof and walls where a set of mirrors have been fixed to create the sensation to have no gravity. The exposition has been realized in collaboration with the Europe Space Agency.

Valencia Open 500

The amazing and new Agora of the City of Arts and Sciences will host the Valencia Open ATP 500 for the second consecutive year. Big champions like Nikolay Davydenko and Andy Murray (winner of the first edition) and Jo-Wilfried Tsonga have already confirmed their participation in the competition, such as the best tennis players in the history of Valencia, Juan Carlos Ferrero and David Ferrer. The tournament, this year, will beguine October 30 and will esn November 7. Valencia Open 500 is the only tournament of category 500 in Spain which is indoor (The Agora is a multifunctional covered space designed by Santiago Calatrava located in the Ciutat de les Arts i les Ciències complex, Valencia, Spain. The building has a height of 80 meters and occupies 5,000 square meters of elliptic space. Depending on the configuration of the space, a maximum seating capacity for 6,000 people can be reached).

“Fashion Art” in Science Museum Príncipe Felipe

Science Museum Príncipe Felipe host, until October the 10th, the exposition “Fashion Art” presented by the general manager of the City of Arts and Science Pedro García Ribot, the fashion stylist Manuel Fernández, the Valencia Fashion Week director Alex Vidal and the Arte Cerámicas Peronda director José Peris. The collection is constituted of 40 dresses hand painted which fuse fashion and art. The exposition, situated in the Mayor Street of the Museum, comes for the first time in Europe after having been in cities of South America like Buenos Aires, Montevideo, Santiago de Chile and more.
