In the City of Sciences and Arts you will be able to feel like an astronaut in the space thanks to en exposition that will be hosted in Príncipe Felipe Sciences Museum. The exposition is composed by imagines and projections took directly from the space that will be exposed all around the roof and walls where a set of mirrors have been fixed to create the sensation to have no gravity. Astronomy in the City of Arts and Sciences

Friday, March 26th, 2010

Next Tuesday, March 30th, the Museo de las Ciencias Príncipe Felipe (Prince Felipe Museum of Science) has planned an Astronomy activity. Conciding with the 30th anniversary of the release of the famous series Cosmos, the Ciudad de las Artes y las Ciencias (City of Arts and Sciences) has prepared a small tribute. The museum will host a conference at 8pm, where the main topics will be Carl Sagan, the impact the series had at the time it was released and how it has influenced subsequent documentaries based on the popularization of science.

After the conference, an astronomical observation of Saturn has been programmed. It’s one of the most spectacular planets of the Solar System because of its well-known rings. The activity is scheduled in the Paseo de los Cipreses, from 9 to 10pm.
