The Albufera of Valencia

The Albufera Natural Park or just La Albufera is a natural park in the province of Valencia. The Albufera of Valencia is a shallow coastal lagoon situated on the Mediterranean coast south of the city of Valencia. Its ecological value is very important because here live ecologically important species in danger of extinction, like the Fartet or Samaruc. It is one of the few salt-water lagoons that are preserved in good condition in the Valencian Community.

Here tourists can have suggestive boat trips, walk around the park and enjoy the Valencian typical restaurants.

People who visit Valencia cannot avoid visiting the The City of Arts and Sciences (Valencian: Ciutat de les Arts i les Ciències, Spanish: Ciudad de las Artes y las Ciencias), one of most important attraction of the town, actually the most important one for the biggest part of the people, in fact is one of the 12 Spanish treasures.

It is the largest oceanographic aquarium in Europe); El Palau de les Arts Reina Sofía (an opera house and performing arts center); El Puente de l’Assut de l’Or; L’Àgora (a covered plaza in which concerts and sporting events are held).
